Construction of a community center and 75 housing units!

After more than six years of planning, close collaboration between many partners and multiple announcements, the machinery has finally made its appearance on the site of the future joint building of the city of Laval and the Municipal Housing Office. from Laval!
Completion of the first phase of the vast revitalization project for the Val-Martin sector of the Chomedey district, this eco-responsible building of original design will house seventy-five (75) social and affordable housing units as well as the Simonne-Monet-Chartrand community center.
At the heart of the reflections that led to the realization of this project: the wish of the partners to favor a lively, dynamic and human-scale neighborhood life; promoting interactions and access to local services; and contributing to the health and quality of life of residents and neighbours.
Occupancy is scheduled for summer 2024
