An associate member of the City of Laval’s Executive Committee, Sandra plays a key role as the elected official responsible for seniors’ affairs and universal accessibility. In this capacity, she works tirelessly to develop policies and initiatives that address the needs of these populations. She is closely involved with a range of partners, including community organizations, to ensure that citizens’ voices are heard and taken into account in municipal decision-making, thereby fostering a collaborative approach.

In recognition of her exemplary and inspiring commitment to the Laval community, she was honored with the King Charles III Medal, a distinction that attests to the positive impact of her work on citizens’ lives and highlights her dedication to public service and humanistic values.
